As an older person on the far outskirts of popculture, I was only generally aware of the Twi-phenomena until catching the movies recently & finding them entertaining enough. Which led me back to Panic Room plus seeing Adventureland, Yellow Handkerchief, & WTTR (all special, memorable films/roles) & put me here searching for more info. I'm a bit beyond the demographic to really appreciate her films, but I do commend her work in most of her films I've seen. I thought she was brilliant in The Runaways. I've heard tell of this groundswell of folk who "hate" her. I imagine them to be folk who probably hate themselves more. Why else spend the energy hating someone who...1.) you don't know 2.) you've never met and 3.) has done nothing to you? It's a shame, really. I don't know the lass, but she seems pretty human.

I HATE Twilight, with a fucking passion, i will never, for the life of me, understand why Kristen wanted to do those movies,. But to say that Kristen is a terrible actress, well you've got to be off your rockers,. have you 'haters' ever even seen a movie with Kristen Stewart in it (outside of Twilight) and thought "wow she's terrible"? She's a single personality actress, and the personality isn't dynamic or interesting. On top of that she was given the most boring and hard to work with role in cinematic history, the whiny, ungrateful, ineloquent Bella Swan. Sure she has a heart and those who are flaming her aren't demanding a personal attack on her, merely a statement of her poor performance in her most apparent job. I, as an actor, do appreciate her efforts none-the-less. I hope this helps you.

So it had more money, she didn't do it for that (nobody knew it would blow up!), and what the heck? She doesn't fund indie films, she's PAID to be in them. @bedwardANDniley Uneducated? When you see her in one movie... you've seen her in all of them. She acts the same in every one. I watched a little bit of "Speak" and "In the Land of Women" and I just couldn't believe that I could not distinguish between her characters in those movies and Bella. Oh and I managed to stomach "The Messengers". Good concept... but she was BELLA in that movie too. So her acting isn't that great. End of story. I'm done here.

As an older person on the far outskirts of popculture, I was only generally aware of the Twi-phenomena until catching the movies recently & finding them entertaining enough. Which led me back to Panic Room plus seeing Adventureland, Yellow Handkerchief, & WTTR (all special, memorable films/roles) & put me here searching for more info. I too am quite annoyed by the anonymous venom directed at her. It is obvious she is INTENSE & puts HEART into her work & life. THANK YOU for your efforts here!
