the song is about the group think/unspoken "conformity rules" that, unfortunately, still permeate the church today. Great song, I love his lyrics. Always a slap in the face done with a smile and a joke.

S.T. was a bright spot in a fairly bright Christian music scene. (Probably still is, I've lost touch...)
His lyrics are as relevant today as they were in the '80's.
