Yu-Gi-Oh! means King of Games. Yugi means game and Yami means Dark in japanese

I personally don't really like GX, but I think it could be as cool to anyone as the first generation of Yugioh. But I believe the characters are a lot cooler and they should show more of the old characters only as grown-ups in order to get that coolness.

i just looked it up and if you translate the way Yugi-oh goes it's "Game King" which after we translate it is the "king of Games" just some insight.lol
