Dave was kicked out because he was a little too heavy on the alcohol. Which doesn't make sense, because the rest of Metallica at the time were just as heavy on the alcohol as him. But I'm glad he was kicked out. Otherwise, this song probably wouldn't have been written.

@TheBuksa he was better, for like 3 or 4 albums. and even then he was only slightly better. im being generus in saying that Dave didnt want to fuel the Tallica/Deth fight, and probably said that hateing himself and only said it to get them to be more open about him. saying something like that without personal gain doesnt sound like dave to me. and him saying it doesnt mean its true, becouse its not.
