This video makes me miss Mikey. I lost him my divorce. Really really miss him somedays. I have two new wonderful dogs but they will never be as silly and sweet him.
Mine's cool. He's like a human, he wants to show off, he's understandable by humans and human feelings. When im sad/upset he comes to me and puts his nose under my hand and lifts it up, cheers me up sometimes.
How much daily exercise does a Whippet need? Can he/she be happy in a 3 bedroom apartment in a warm city (Lisbon, Portugal), with a daily walk of about 30-40 minutes?
We live in a 3 room apartment in Sweden with a whippet. As long as you take him for regular walks and let him run freely at least a couple of times a week the dog should be fine.
We had to put Elle down she slipped two of her disks in her neck she was only 9 years. We now have 2 lurchers called Jack and Alfie I love them both. But i still miss Elle so much.
I have a lurcher, he's called muttley, I know how attatched you can get to these loopy dogs! I'm sorry for your loss, lurchers are such great friends.
they loved to be chased don't they. Winnie does the same thing.. wears out all the dogs at the offleash park.. we have to wait for fresh ones to arrive all the time.. Everyone sees us arrive and wait for me to unclip her and let her rip.. suprisingly some of the smaller dogs get up some good speed but can't brake and turn nowhere as well...

Makes tears come to my eyes....looks like my girl; she runs around other dogs just like this (18-month-old whippet the same color)and they never catch her!

Gorgeous, we have a whippet and he's quite shy and timid! He loves running at the beach aswell, I'll have to get some videos!

A dog needs atleast 2 walks per day... Otherwise he/she will die..
I got a whippet. If its warm outside, he/she needs alot of water. Give him/her plenty of food too.
