  • when the cue wobbles like that, it's good because it's deflecting the cue, not the cue ball. is that correct?

    All cues deflect sideways with English, and this causes the CB to also "deflect" (AKIA "squirt") offline. The more "endmass" a shaft has, the more the CB squirts. The wobble is related to the shaft stiffness. For more info and video demos on these topics, see "squirt" in the FAQ section of my website (the URL is in the video description).
