This brought back some old memories of pestering radio one to play Slades singles during those awful lean years of the late seventies. Thanks for shaing this little gem. Bless ya
That was absolutely brilliant. I was only listening to it Friday morning on a tape I'd taped from Radio 1 in 11980 from a golden Hour show. First time I've seen the vid. Made my morning that Sat'3.00AM hahaha...I'm an owl haha Cheers for that!
Brilliant. that's the first time I've seen the video. Got all the dummies singles and lp and all Jim Lea's solo work. the new cd is great. So good to have him back.
Only my live (Slade) composite as far as I know. However he also mimed/performed Miles out to sea on the same show. No other Jim Lea solo videos exists as far as I know (except private filmed videos from JimJam)
I'm glad I have finally gotten to see this video. Jim Lea was always my favorite member of Slade and neither his nor their videos ever got much rotation on American TV. Without youtube, I'd never have the chance.
Now... do you have anything else? I'd like to see "I'll Be John And You'll Be Yoko"!
Lastly, if Whild91 is who I think it is, hello Lou. My best to you and Jim from Ohio!
remember this well, the dummies were very good.

Frank also played with Slade for one live concert, standing in for Don while he was recovering from his accident.
