  • The full version of this song is actually WILD, note by note. By the time my fingers heal (dummy, I didn't use a pic) I'll have forgotten how to play it..lol

  • Been playing for about 6 years. Wanted to learn this song so bad. I'm self taught, so I don't know names of chords and notes. Was looking for a tutorial of the entire version, note for note. Practiced for 8 days straight, finally got it pretty much down on my "acoustic." Didn't use a pic, so I ripped my fingers to shreds. They were actually bleeding. I wish I could have found a tutorial or even watch this song actually being played, would have taken half the time and saved my fingers...

  • not what i was looking for, but.. sounded great.. makes me almost want to get back into my acoustic..

  • What if I help a stray old lady across the street eat her greens? ;)

  • @StephanSandiares SWEETNESS!!! See, now someone is thinking here. Multi-tasking at its finest!

  • i just read "Guitar Lessons - Twilight Zone" and i thought it was Iron Maiden's Twilight Zone

  • What's the gold record from?

  • Great lesson on a great song!

Could you do an easy lesson on this muted strumming? I find it so hard to get it right (haha, I should say: to get it). If you could just give me some easy to follow tips on how to start, than I will probably get it.

    Thanks and keep going :-)

  • Just like all your other lessons: easy to follow and spot on!

  • Bar chords do not make a guitar player. However, I was playing bar chords when you were a sparkle in your father's eye. Some of the best players in the world use capos. If you want some more advanced lessons, see my electric playlist and then post your playing so that everyone can see the guitar hero you are.

    :)

  • I do post my playing buddy :)

  • @yourguitarsage with all respect, but in my opinion you're screwing up a classic. if you want to learn the peole how to playt twilight zone, than do it in the original way, so WITH bar chords.

  • @SjorsKooymans It's a beginners lesson...Very few beginners can use Barre Chords

  • @yourguitarsage I'm not a guitar hero.

  • Ok I just notice that just as you start to play you have a metronome or drum track kick in what is it or is it a fancy foot work lol

  • That's my foot!

    :)

  • Rush is better

  • Good song.

  • 8:19 :))

  • wait ...not in a weird way...

  • Lol, nice recovery.....

    Wierdo....;-)))

  • I wanna hang out with you.

  • thnx...

  • Have you been told you bear a resemblance to Jon Lajoie?

Anyway, great lesson. I like how you stick to just the chords so you don't confuse everyone with learning solos, riffs, etc.

Keep makin' em, and I'll keep watchin' em.
