  • Finally. The truth. There is no principle reduction on a Loan Mod. Possibly on a short sale. Do not bother even asking for one. If you are in "NEED" of a Loan Mod be as accurate as you can in disclosing income and expenses. DO NOT UNDER DISCLOSE OR OVER DISCLOSE INCOME OR EXPENSES. If you do you may be denied when you may have been approved in the first place.
