According to OFFICIAL press release by Island Def Jam, Mariah Carey sold 175 million album, singles, and videos.

Celine Dion has sold 200 million only for ALBUM sales. It's also official according to Sony

However, MADONNA is the top-selling female artist of all time, according to IFPI and Guiness World Records. Only Madonna and Celine are the female artist with 200m+ albums, but Madonna has sold far more singles.

She has sold 1,3 million in Quebec in the 80's,I have the list of her 80's albums with the figures.And she doesn't sold 215 million albums ( perhaps you mean 215 million records ? ) cause she 's at 51 million in USA,53 million in Europe,15 million in Canada,4,5 million in Australia,5 million in Africa,3 million in Brazil,8 million in Japan....there is no way she could reach 215 million albums worldwide !
