Guns wise CoD4 wins since i played it non stop sonce it came out to the release of waw, mw2 is good, but cod 4 had much more challenge using the guns such as, there was idle sway on the assault rifles, whilst there wasn't in mw2, mw2 was too noob friendly to me, and black ops just sucked in every single way (exept zombies), CoD4>WaW>Mw2>BO

COD 4 was the first *real* call of duty game. It was one of THE early good first person shooters, along with halo 2 and battlefield (2? not bad company) on top of that, it was much more balanced. some of the weapons in MW2 were overpowered (Yes. you knew it was coming, UMP/ACR) and shotguns as secondaries was a bit weird.

COD4 is much more balanced in my opinion. I think that in some ways MW2 has better guns (subs and assault), but it super failed with sniper rifles, shotguns as secondaries, and launchers. I'm putting my money on COD4 because it's an overall better game and the amount of bullet damage done by guns in MW2 was ridiculous. Graphically, obviously MW2 takes the cake and I'll even admit MW2 guns were a lot of fun to use, but in the end it's more about function and balance.

If it wasn't a console port. It would have been amazing, as we PC gamers could have every annoyance fixed in an instant. But nooo. They rushed it, so they only left console commands for dedicated servers and such in the hidden console. Awesome. Their 1 game a year thing is seriously annoying.

MP5 in COD4 with a silencer sounded the best. Also the 50 Cal had an epic sound. In terms of power I would say the RPD from COD4 wins because it can mow down enemies for days, accurately. Visually I like the M4 with red tiger in COD4.

But the most fun I had was probably with the riot shield in MW2, that and the Intervention because of how easy it was to use for a COD sniper. Overall COD4 had my favorite guns though.

MW2 wins. More variety. It had more problems but I had more fun playing it. I hated the tubers, the commando pussys and the tac knifers... but the game was a lot of fun and still is! BTW COD4 M16 vs MW2 UMP > m16 was more overpowered. It owned snipers across the map and it owned SMG's at close range (if you have anything close to skill). I can outgun an UMP with any assault rifle or a P90 or a mini-uzi all day.
