  • Man, that would have been a piss off to anyone trying to cross the street.

  • The guy at 0:44 looks really into it! I love when he starts dancing in front of a group of people at 0:53 and the one guy is all like "whoa back up!" lol

  • Mika \o/

  • no dought one of the drivers wanted to plow in that huge crowd

  • Awesome video! I love that song, it's perfect for this campaign.

  • I'd like it better if Virgin Mobile wasn't plastered all over it. lol

  • how the hell did I miss this :O the guy at 45 is way cute :P

  • i used to live in toronto...u dont see this stuff in california...

  • holey hell those people in the cars going to work are probally like shit im late but this is cool as shit!

  • 8 people were mad that they couldn't be a part of this video

  • that guy at the beginning doesnt look like hes about to start dancing

  • I got a T-mobile ad on this virgin mobile channel. I don't know if they're owned by the same guy or not ut LOL either way.

  • Best part I Think Is When that first dude starts dancing, then the other people start joining in.. :D

  • Weak compared to T-Mobile flashmobs

  • @hmlovedj T-Mobile is about three years behind the curve. Flash Mobs are so last decade. The only good thing they have done is the Royal Wedding one.

  • wow that looked fun as hell

  • University Of Windsor Flash Mob (Virgin Mobile/ Blackberry/ Campus Perks) GO Lancerssssss!!!!!!!!!

  • Great song. Who made it?

  • @AxjionAlesandres

    It's "Love Today" by Mika:)

  • Who cares! This is very cool!! Oops----I saw a Starbucks cup does that mean they were in cahoots as well? Can't you all just enjoy this for what is does -- make you feel good.

  • woow! that's sooo amazing! <3

  • This is so amazing <3

  • THE GLOBAL CORPORATIONS HAVE TO STEAL ANYTHING REAL AND GENUINE AND ABUSE IT FOR FINANCIAL GAIN.

  • @Ranlon Or the "artistic corporations" have found a way to be able to make their performances/work more accessible to everyone and arguably more popular.

  • great city, good fun, but don't ruin it by putting your brand at the end of the video. i understand virgin you want something out of it, but that makes it kind of the opposite of the purpose of a flash mob. don't turn something so creative and original that our generation created and turn into a marketing tool because your outdated "ad-men" and their fancy degrees are outdated and can no longer come up with anything better

  • @milton123 you are an idiot. virgin mobile are the ones that came up with the idea and went to ryerson university and recruted dancers that were willing to do this

  • @MarcoVilla6 no, you're the idiot. virgin didn't come up with the idea of a flashmob. yes, THIS dance number was their idea but you missed my whole point. A flashmob was something created to bring random acts of joy to everyday people on the everyday grind. The ORIGINAL flashmobs weren't trying to sell anything or market their brand, but now because big companies know many people watch videos of flashmobs they are USING the idea to sell their brand

  • @milton123 its called guerrilla marketing, and its a new marketing strategy to entice the younger generation to buy products, set up by the companies.

  • lol @ the drivers

  • cool! ;-)

  • HOW DID I MISS THIS!

  • My random act: A big smile goes a log way!!!

  • My random act of love was I gave a young mom free daycare

  • My random act of love was I gave a single mother free daycare for her young child

  • Buy a stranger a meal at a restaurant.

  • My random act of love is letting a total stranger know that I think they have beautiful smile!

  • My random act: paying for the meal of the person behind me in the drive thru

  • note how she has a red umbrella... thats called acting children. xo

  • make love to my girlfriend =)

  • My random act of love was giving mouth to mouth resucitation to a complete stranger who collapsed with a heart attack. He had blood all over his face from hitting the cement and I had nothing to protect myself from possible contamination from his blood. Just couldn't let him die on the chance that he might have a contagious blood born disease. Luckily, he lived and I was tested for hep C and am fine.

  • My Random Act: Buying a stranger a much needed coffee.

  • awesome!

  • ahaha did you see how scared the blonde chick got one the first guy started dancing lol, she was in shock for 10 seconds

  • Virgin, will you please answer my emails or phone me back? You keep messing up my phone plan. Can I talk to someone who won't make it even worse?

  • I love Toronto...

  • @phoenixx1 best equal friendly place on the planet! :D

  • omg i wanna a part oif thissss

  • great !!

wish i could dance like that

Too bad I missed the live show :D

  • AMAZING JOB!!

  • RYERSON!!!!!!!

  • Way to go Ryerson!!

  • Totally Amazing! Is Ryerson actually planning to shut down their dance program!? Really?!

  • haha that was awesome, i wish i was there to see it =I

  • this is pure awesomeness! love it!

  • awesome! Go Ryerson Go!

  • i'm crying, i was laughing so hard!!

  • i want to marry the blonde guy at 44 seconds.

  • You better be male because that guy was definitely gay... ;)

  • Agreed!! Either him, or the guy in the hat at 48 seconds! SO hot!! Love a man that can move ;)

  • I walk by this intersection almost every day and was delighted to see this video. Thanks so much to everyone who put so much wonderful energy into making it.

  • I'd love to see a high-def version of this.

Any chance of uploading a better quality video? The vid is awesome, but the quality is awful. Very pixalated and blurred.

  • Cool, I was watching this being filmed from Ryerson's Digital Media Zone. (Right above Jack Astor's.)

  • hehehe thatss nicee

  • Random Act: Donating gently used clothing.

  • Lovely.

  • Random Act: Buy coffee for the person behind you in the drive-thru at Tim Hortons. It usually keeps going long for quite awhile.

  • Random Act: Cut your neighbors grass for them

  • random act of kindness : picked up a littered water bottle and disposed of it at the nearest recycle bin, that way everyone wins.

  • Annoying Act of Advertising: this.

  • @lukeloseth is your heart made of stone?

  • @oreoshack

no, i'm just completely fed up with corporations using a concept like love to sell a product. my heart is actually the opposite of stone, which is why i can recognize that a bunch of hip young people dancing in a square for a commercial has nothing to do with 'love'.

  • real talk.

  • @lukeloseth its better than a billboard :)

  • Da muss man doch einfach strahlen! Ich liiiiieeebe Mika!

  • Random Act of Kindness: Volunteering at homeless shelters to help those in need.

  • That guy with the Starbucks Cup is such an awesome guy!!!!!!!!!

  • Random Act: helping anyone who needs help even if it's out of my way to do so

  • random act of LOVE: Shoveling your neighbors drive way, even if they aren't attached.

  • Random Act of love: Giving away your seat in a public transportation

  • Random Act: Brush the snow and clean a strangers windows on the cars beside you in the parking lot...hey its Winnipeg!

  • Random Act: After having dinner and not touching my plate at all, gave the leftover food to a homeless person

  • I would buy a meal for a homeless person

  • I don't get it... How is this a random ac of love?

  • i love it!! Love Love Mika!

would have loved to have been there!

  • look at that LOSER with the starbucks cup!

  • Random Act: Finding someones newspaper in the bushes or ditch, and bringing it directly to their doorstep

  • I also wan to touch to express my special kind of love.

Yet again, Virgin is just trying way too hard to be cool. Can you say booooorrrriiiing!

  • Random Act: You are at the grocery store; a single mom with her 3 kids are in line in front of you paying. She goes for her purse and doesn't have enough to pay the few items she needed to feed her family. Rather than let her try to choose which article of food is more important, you open your wallet and cover the rest.

... Acts of Love make a huge difference

  • Random Act: I think just help out anyone that needs help whether that's giving your seat someone who needs it or help homeless. There is no deed big or small as each act will make a difference in someone's life.

  • this is pretty cool!!! you did a great job!

  • Weird I thought I commented on this but I can't find it!

Anyhow, what I wanted to say, that whenever you see a person that needs help don't just walk by, stop and help them! :) You will make the world a better place!

    (I'm a fan on Facebook @Sand516)

  • My Random Act of Love would be: A younger person sitting in a coffee shop and stirring up a nice conversation with an elderly person.

  • RANDOM ACT: Help others that look confused find their direction

  • Random Act: Stopping to help old people cross the street

  • I think any act of random kindness is good

the other day I bought a man that sits outside Tim Horton's some chicken noooodle soup:):) warm his soul, warm his heart......

Also love to buy the person behind me in line his coffee and also the bus driver give him a lotto ticket for luck.....:)

  • Gotta love flashmobs haha!! I actually work for virgin, and its the best company in the world to work for and I love representing virgin each and everyday!! My r.a.o.k is to help customers with their phones, even if they aren't with virgin mobile, because they could tell a friend about virgins excellent service, (jd power associate awarded btw) and it just brightens up there day that someone is willing to be patient and help them out !! Everyone deserves to feel a lil' virgin love

  • A great random act of love would be to reach out to a stranger that looks sad or distressed, to be someone to talk to, listen and try to offer some consolation, without any "angle" or ulterior motives. We all go through rough patches and having an impartial stranger reach out to you in those times could make the landing softer and lead to a new friendship. Spread the love!

  • My random act of love: my sisters dog got out of the yard and took off into the next 100 acre farmers field and forest across the road. the farm will shoot anything thats not his.

I ran out [it was near sundown], hoped the razor wire fence into the farmers field and made my way into the forest. Time flew by and it was dark and I was alone.. I found her dog just as my ex appeared with a flashlight and he carried the dog back to the house.

Turns out I was searching for almost 4 hours.

  • this was awesome reminds of that fatboy slim video, showing people that there is choice and a better choice in mobile service providers. I am not sure If I would do the dance I think I would get arrested though lolol. For me showing the love is just being there for my fellow human being. If someone needs that hug that helping hand I am there always for them.

If more people shown the Love imagine how amazing the world would be .

  • random act of love that I've done in the past was to help an elderly woman get down the stairs with her walker at a transit stop seeing as the elevators were out of order.

  • Flash mobs always make me smile :-)

  • my fave R.A.O.L is my friend tom and i have a tradition of going into casinos and dropping a token into the machines of the people beside us, they win ALOT of times. we ask for nothing in return, just a smile

  • My favourite random act of love is using my VM phone to send little pick-me-up texts to friends who need a boost; or (when I'm able) paying a bill for someone that I know is strapped for cash -- anything I can do to make things a bit better for someone else! :)

  • haha love how traffic got tied up

  • That was amazing! I love love Mika!!!

  • haha that was beuatiful:) i think that showing love to those we love often come too easy, at least for me.. my random act of love would involve showing an extraordinary act of kindness to someone you don't nessicarily like. like your sworn enemy gets on the bus and has forgotten their money.. pay their way and ofer them some money for a way back. things like that keep society together. thanks again virgin for the chance to win. i will win someday<3

  • Love this. See the smiles on the onlookers. Not normally seen in downtown Toronto, eyes usually straight ahead and not seeing around them. Need this more often. Wish I was there.

  • that was awesome.i got goose bumps and it really made my day.i know that for me a hug always makes me feel much better so my random act of love would be to give hugs to random people on the streets

  • With this random Toronto winter, I have these urges to pack some bathing suits in a bag and pick up my girlfriend after work and fly to a private hot spot like Bora Bora where they filmed Couples Retreat. We would just hang out on the beach and enjoy the rays for a week as my random act of love.

  • so cool. Spread the Love! We could all use a little more joy.
