The guy at 0:44 looks really into it! I love when he starts dancing in front of a group of people at 0:53 and the one guy is all like "whoa back up!" lol
We LOVE your flash mob! We think you'll like our HOOPING FLASH MOB VIDEO - Check out our channel to watch an upbeat flash mob of hula hoopers in Toronto!
Who cares! This is very cool!! Oops----I saw a Starbucks cup does that mean they were in cahoots as well? Can't you all just enjoy this for what is does -- make you feel good.
@Ranlon Or the "artistic corporations" have found a way to be able to make their performances/work more accessible to everyone and arguably more popular.
great city, good fun, but don't ruin it by putting your brand at the end of the video. i understand virgin you want something out of it, but that makes it kind of the opposite of the purpose of a flash mob. don't turn something so creative and original that our generation created and turn into a marketing tool because your outdated "ad-men" and their fancy degrees are outdated and can no longer come up with anything better
@milton123 you are an idiot. virgin mobile are the ones that came up with the idea and went to ryerson university and recruted dancers that were willing to do this
@MarcoVilla6 no, you're the idiot. virgin didn't come up with the idea of a flashmob. yes, THIS dance number was their idea but you missed my whole point. A flashmob was something created to bring random acts of joy to everyday people on the everyday grind. The ORIGINAL flashmobs weren't trying to sell anything or market their brand, but now because big companies know many people watch videos of flashmobs they are USING the idea to sell their brand
@milton123 its called guerrilla marketing, and its a new marketing strategy to entice the younger generation to buy products, set up by the companies.
My random act of love was giving mouth to mouth resucitation to a complete stranger who collapsed with a heart attack. He had blood all over his face from hitting the cement and I had nothing to protect myself from possible contamination from his blood. Just couldn't let him die on the chance that he might have a contagious blood born disease. Luckily, he lived and I was tested for hep C and am fine.
Actually they didn't get paid for it, they're dancers from the dance program at Ryerson, i'm friends with one of them, thats how i know. Though i think my friend said the program may have gotten some money.
I was there, saw a bunch of people with umbrellas dancing across priority crossing, and heard some really loud music. Got freaked out and crossed underneath the street through the TTC!
I walk by this intersection almost every day and was delighted to see this video. Thanks so much to everyone who put so much wonderful energy into making it.
no, i'm just completely fed up with corporations using a concept like love to sell a product. my heart is actually the opposite of stone, which is why i can recognize that a bunch of hip young people dancing in a square for a commercial has nothing to do with 'love'.
Random Act: You are at the grocery store; a single mom with her 3 kids are in line in front of you paying. She goes for her purse and doesn't have enough to pay the few items she needed to feed her family. Rather than let her try to choose which article of food is more important, you open your wallet and cover the rest.
Random Act: I think just help out anyone that needs help whether that's giving your seat someone who needs it or help homeless. There is no deed big or small as each act will make a difference in someone's life.
Weird I thought I commented on this but I can't find it!
Anyhow, what I wanted to say, that whenever you see a person that needs help don't just walk by, stop and help them! :) You will make the world a better place!
Gotta love flashmobs haha!! I actually work for virgin, and its the best company in the world to work for and I love representing virgin each and everyday!! My r.a.o.k is to help customers with their phones, even if they aren't with virgin mobile, because they could tell a friend about virgins excellent service, (jd power associate awarded btw) and it just brightens up there day that someone is willing to be patient and help them out !! Everyone deserves to feel a lil' virgin love
A great random act of love would be to reach out to a stranger that looks sad or distressed, to be someone to talk to, listen and try to offer some consolation, without any "angle" or ulterior motives. We all go through rough patches and having an impartial stranger reach out to you in those times could make the landing softer and lead to a new friendship. Spread the love!
My random act of love: my sisters dog got out of the yard and took off into the next 100 acre farmers field and forest across the road. the farm will shoot anything thats not his.
I ran out [it was near sundown], hoped the razor wire fence into the farmers field and made my way into the forest. Time flew by and it was dark and I was alone.. I found her dog just as my ex appeared with a flashlight and he carried the dog back to the house.
this was awesome reminds of that fatboy slim video, showing people that there is choice and a better choice in mobile service providers. I am not sure If I would do the dance I think I would get arrested though lolol. For me showing the love is just being there for my fellow human being. If someone needs that hug that helping hand I am there always for them.
If more people shown the Love imagine how amazing the world would be .
random act of love that I've done in the past was to help an elderly woman get down the stairs with her walker at a transit stop seeing as the elevators were out of order.
my fave R.A.O.L is my friend tom and i have a tradition of going into casinos and dropping a token into the machines of the people beside us, they win ALOT of times. we ask for nothing in return, just a smile
My favourite random act of love is using my VM phone to send little pick-me-up texts to friends who need a boost; or (when I'm able) paying a bill for someone that I know is strapped for cash -- anything I can do to make things a bit better for someone else! :)
haha that was beuatiful:) i think that showing love to those we love often come too easy, at least for me.. my random act of love would involve showing an extraordinary act of kindness to someone you don't nessicarily like. like your sworn enemy gets on the bus and has forgotten their money.. pay their way and ofer them some money for a way back. things like that keep society together. thanks again virgin for the chance to win. i will win someday<3

that was awesome.i got goose bumps and it really made my day.i know that for me a hug always makes me feel much better so my random act of love would be to give hugs to random people on the streets
With this random Toronto winter, I have these urges to pack some bathing suits in a bag and pick up my girlfriend after work and fly to a private hot spot like Bora Bora where they filmed Couples Retreat. We would just hang out on the beach and enjoy the rays for a week as my random act of love.
