Thank you for making this video. I just read Grant Evan's book "The Last Century of Lao Royalty" and it helped paint a more clearer picture for me of the man in these photos. Though times were changing, HRH believe that Laos needed to have strong allies if it didn't want to be assimilated into either Thai or Viet influences. And sadly history has fulfilled his prophecy. Hopefully future generations will still know his name and yearn to learn the truth about the royal family of Laos.
