Amazing how the depiction of lynching is recognized as a horrible statement of racial violence that must be told vs a horrible incident that must be hidden for fear of "offending the readers/viewers!" I even remember seeing an episode of "Cold Case" where a past lynching incident is investigated as an ACTUAL UNSOLVED MURDER and when the guilty party was arrested, "Strange Fruit" was played during the closing panorama shots! I thought "Wow! This would have never been aired during the crime era!"

Spider even wrote a sequel "Lady Slings the Booze!" Painful pun title but brilliant installment in an excellent series!
