  • @mormika

Thank you for your advice :D

  • wow, it's very pretty. Do you think it's too hard-a piece for a 17 year old to play?

  • @lieshbird1994

I am a pianist on this movie, and I'm not a specialist of flute...but it seems not so fast and not so difficult technically, Good luck!!

  • @lieshbird1994 im a 13 year old whos learning it for grade seven and im stuggling!

  • @lieshbird1994 Im a 13 year old an learning this piece for grade seven, its very hard!

  • @babbeygirl19

really? oh you poor thing. I am grade seven standard next year and higher plus I'm in VCE year 12 music, so I hope I'll be able to pull it off. But good luck little one :)

  • Wonderful....Congratulations!! I really enjoyed your interpretation!

  • @Silvabone

    Thank you so much !

  • Cool!! =D I play romance 36 on horn :) Never heart this one before :P

  • Thank you !

Romance op.36 may be more famous than op.37. I love both of two ! :D

  • haha :P We're maybe also gonna play this one :) And we still wanna film #36 :)

  • Wow. Both of you are great! I'm trying this for a grade 6 exam and i am completely stumped on the cadenza. plus you're amazing at holding your breath at the end for so long! thanks!

  • Thank you!

I hope good luck in your exam, and listen to your flute on Youtube someday!

  • Thanks, but that's never gonna happen...

  • No, we are not in conservatory, nor in curse.

Both of us graduated a school irrelevant to the music, and are playing as a hobby :)

  • Well Done!

However, be careful of your intonation on bar 9 when the piano and the flute has unison pitches. Too flat, you have to aim sharp for Eb, F and Gb just to make it intune with the piano. Very subtle, but this shows skilled and delicate performance

Saint-Saëns has subtlely put the melodic line in the broken chords of the piano part at some bars.

I believe some passages to by quasi-cadenza. Take your time and rubato, especially the scales up. Relax.........

  • Thank you for your advice!

I'm the pianist on this clip, so I don't know how difficult it is, to control the pitches of flute...

Anyway, it must take much more time to make our performance better, I think :)

  • Thank you.

I hope you a good luck in the competition!

  • ooh

i'm thinking of doing this for solo competition

    great job!
