only recently started following this build, mind if I ask why its automatic?

@Ricerguy possibly going to be a drag car, automatics are more consistent, thus easier to run bracket racing and keep boost up while drag racing

I do expect this thing to be extremely fast in a straight line and very fast in corners related to the upgraded progressive springs. I have always wanted to do hill climb races and this might be my ticket. I know I addedd at least 150 pounds due to the heavier exhaust, brackets, turbo, manifold...you get the idea, but I think that it will still outrun most everything

its an automatic cause it is not a manual !!!!! lol

The only reason it is an automatic is because I found this one on craigslist and got it for 700 dollars. I really did not care that it was auto, it had the twin cam and that was all I cared about. I had a malfunction in the distributor that deadlined the car for a whil, and I figured well since I am repairing this I might as well turbo the car....over a year later you see how things are going!

@southwest82 :p i personally despise automatic cars, but I like your build in particular because I honestly doubt the gti gearbox could handle the awesome power you are going to put down! :D

@southwest82 awesome! its gona be a fun little car! and no prob, its interesting, when i was younger i wanted to build a boosted geo really bad, but never had enough funds and lost interest
