I can understand the English from the Austrialians so much better than the English from Hollyoaks, why is that? His father is homophobic and has treated him very differently since he came out (first by kicking him out of the house and since then by being completely domineering). Chris isn't ashamed or embarrassed, he just doesn't want his father to have another thing to hold against him and he thinks if his father knows he was being harassed for being gay it will make trouble with his father. He is very proud, he's just scared of his dad.

@adpacctng Precisely. Chris didn't get beaten in a fair fight. he was snuck upon and attacked in cold blood. Moreover, it's not just about him. It's about all the other potential victims out there. @juniormmmm When someone is assaulted, nurses and doctors are actually SUPPOSED notify the police. They should have done so anyway (despite Chris' fears of his homophobic father) Telling Lucas (Chris' employer and in whose shop he was working when he was assaulted) doesn't violate patience confidentiality.

Aiden didn't reveal anything about Chris medical condition or any private information. Lucas has a legal right to know what's happening in his own shop.

Regardless, Lucas has to know as he could well be held liable if Chris's condition were to get worse.

Aiden seemed really concerned when Chris told him about being bashed by Warren. Aiden us older so I wonder if he had a difficult time when he came out like he was bashed and if that will come out in a future storyline?
