  • I wish more men were gay. Why? Less competition.

  • I will vote NO for homosexual marriage in my state, But I will support Ron Paul because there are powers that Government just shouldn't have.

  • I disagree with the woman that said "because I believe I can do whatever I want, whenever I want".

No you can't, under libertarian theory, you can't hurt others or Infringe while your enjoy your freedom.

As for me, Im a Paleo-conservative.

  • "girl wants to do whatever she wants whenever she wants".......i don't want to live on this planet anymore

  • I've always wanted to attend a gay pride, the people there just look so free and friendly too bad iwont be able to attend one for a couple more years cause i live in the most homophobic country in the wolrd but if its even once i'll go to one.

  • gay people are sick........... Women were made for Men.........it should stay that way

A dick is suppost to go inside a pussy not a guys asshole, and if it does go in a asshole it should be in a girls asshole.......WTF AMERICA!!!!!

  • @AllNightLong3333 What people do in their own lives, harming no one, is their own business. Period. Not yours or anyone else's. You might give some thought to educating yourself on the principles this country was founded upon. Obviously, it would surprise you. As Michael Badnarik says, in a nutshell (and paraphrasing), you leave me and my property alone and I'll do the same for you. It really isn't difficult to figure out. That's what it boils down to.

  • @AllNightLong3333 One doesn't have to like homosexuality to tolerate it. One doesn't have to like guns to oppose the folly of gun control. One doesn't have to drink to oppose prohibition. One doesn't have to do drugs to oppose the folly of the drug war. One doesn't have to like foreign dictators to recognize the folly of foreign intervention.

For freedom to exist, people have to tolerate some things they don't like.

  • @AllNightLong3333 you think your opinion matters they gonna still fuck either no matter what you people say gays just do what they want yo cant stop them from living.

  • Nothing sums up better the idiocy from the anti-gay movement than the "gays make AIDS" argument.

  • @chronDiggity please gays dont make aids it has been spread by all 3 sexualities we all have to responsibility for it instead of trying to blame gay people cause its easy.

  • @mejoramigosexy

    lol wut

  • I'm a Libertarian because I believe that govt. shouldn't be allowed to abuse its powers like it has been doing in the past 200 yrs.

  • @TheGreatKarod Gay people are consenting, pedophilia is not consenting by it's very nature because it involves children who can not enter into contract. You might disagree what consenting adults do in their own bedroom, but you have absolutely no right to control them.

  • Libertarians are nothing but liberals by another name so it doesn't surprise me to find libertarians participating in a homosexual parade. Go back to the democrat party where you belong.

  • @MaryWaterton Education, true education, is a wonderful thing. Libertarians have nothing to do with either republicans or democrats.... it has to do with what our founding documents say and they trump everyone and everything even though they're being treated as merely toilet paper. You might try discovering what these documents truly say and begin to be a true American by upholding real freedom, not the odious drivel that passes for our principles.

  • Here is an interesting question..the LGB people are passionate about fighting for their equal rights..but when you ask them if they would support a polygamy movement they run for the hills..

  • @tillman40

    Good point!

  • The LP really needs to be at events like this, so many LGB people have been brainwashed by Democrats. They keep making empty promises and we keep crawling back.

  • @satv365 I agree with everything you posted.

  • According to the chart, most of the people at the event were liberals and a good portion were libertarians. Some conservatives too, which is interesting.

  • Yay! I LOVE to see the LP working to gain the GLBT vote! I'm straight, but I have always thought that marriage equality is the civil rights struggle of our time, and that the LP should be at the forefront of this battle. It is a great way to appeal to the young voters as well! I held my nose and voted for Barr/Root, but we need to get away from the socially conservative associations that many have with the LP. Appealing to GLBT folks is a great way to do that!

  • This is why libertarians should not associate with statist theocratic conservatives. Conservatives claim to defend freedom, but where are they at gay pride parades? They are at the counter-protest.

  • I hope we can spread the message of liberty to more and more of the GLBT community. We need to wake up and realize that the Democratic Party doesn't truly fight for our rights when it counts while Libertarians have always been for maximum personal freedom. I can guarantee that there are many GLBT people who only vote for democrats because they think that they will support GLBT issues. You CAN be a fiscal conservative and social liberal! Proud to be a libertarian!

  • I am a liberterian, cause i think the government should step back from the education system , but regulate the big corporation not to hurt the workers and consumers

  • @HardCoreProgrammer1

Idiot, you are a left wing moron who erroneously think he is libertarian. Get lost.

  • @HardCoreProgrammer1 Sorry 'bout "LFD." He's the kind of Libertarian that gives the rest of us a bad name. I love your idea of privatizing education. I'd say we need a full-ride scholarship for poor kids as a transition program on the way to full privatization of schools. You are right that big corps have done a lot of bad things, but most of those things they did by bribing politicians in to giving them special subsidies or monopoly protection. Without these, most corp. evil is prevented.

  • I will stand behind any gay/lesbian person to protect their rights and liberties because we were born free and can do whatever we want to if we're not hurting anyone else. No government has any right to tell anyone what to do as far as their sexuality goes as well as so many other things that they stick their noses in within our everyday lives. DO NOT TREAD ON ME! Spread the word and vote for Mr. Paul if you also believe we're all born free.

  • @HughGWrekshin Very well said, HughGWrekshin! That is my very firm stance. Are we not all human beings with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? THAT is the bottom line here. I was a libertarian long before I knew there was such a thing and I will die defending your freedom to be one who harms no one's person or property and expects the same in return. Go, Ron Paul!

  • I kind of agree with Mauhadeeb28 I don't think it's something to be proud of per se but i do believe equal rights do need to be fought for.

  • @brad238899 Bingo!

  • Liberty forever

  • Proud to be living a viable, productive life, despite society's general negative view of homosexuality. Even as the lifestyle is growing acceptance, it is still generally regarded as defective, or less than optimal. Nonsense.

  • @abentco It's definitely a defect and sexual mental disorder but it should be allowed as long as it is not forced. Homosexuality can be corrected

  • @Grambino2012 (1)Why a mental and sexual disorder?(2)Straight people always say that homosexuality should be allowed as long as it is is not forced, yet I have never heard of any attempt at forced homosexuality, but forced hetrosexuality has been attempted such as gays, who in the past ,were forced into mental institutions or arrested in police raids,etc.(3) I don't believe that any kind of sexuality can be corrected or--for that matter, should be as long as only consenting adults are involved.

  • @sleedolfine15 He means as long as there are two consenting adults choosing to have sex with each other. Basically so no one is being molested or raped.

As far as it being a mental or sexual disorder, I personally think it is natures way of corralling population. In a sense it is still a disorder but that doesn't necessarily mean that something is wrong at all. (normal order being heterosexuality and procreation like in the rest of the animal kingdom)

  • @Mauhadeeb28

Look up homosexual behavior in animals it happens even in low population species so that probably isn't it.

  • @LCG8928 Yes, it happens at even a lower levels in lower animal populations. Most of animals aren't showing primarily homosexual behavior.

  • @LCG8928 I didn't mean to click send yet. AS far as the studies that showed it in fairly high amounts(3-5%) in low population, it was attributed to a large disparity in the sex of the animals i.e. larger percentage of woman then men in the populations showed a tendency to have more gay woman. Which is only one of many examples of corralling population. Not curtail or cut. Just specific manipulation. Which is possibly genetic in which case it wouldn't be a "disorder" but natural gene manipulation

  • @Grambino2012 Sorry, dude. I'm a straight guy, but homosexuality can not be effectively "corrected," Furthermore, it is not even a defect in need of "correction." In any event, the Libertarian view is that if any gay dude WANTS to be "corrected" he should be allowed to pay for such "services" on the free market, and must never be forced or coerced to do so. Also, preventing gays and lesbians from marrying violates their liberty. Your position is that of a Neocon, not a Libertarian.

  • @freesk8 Lol, I agree with your opinion on the issue and that makes me a neocon? Actually, a true libertarian does not believe the state should have any involvement in marriage at all, gay or straight. Again, I never said that people shouldn't be able to pursue voluntary alternative lifestyles or even marry. Btw, the term "neoconservative" refers almost entirely to one who believes in an aggressive foreign policy, which I am completely against.

  • What the hell is there to be proud about being gay? How can someone be proud of something they have no control over? That is like me being proud of having two legs or proud to think about colors.

  • @Mauhadeeb28 Yeah like being proud to be an american right?

  • @alexjustalex1 Exactly! I was born in america out of no choice so why am I proud unless I was part of the governments action to do something wonderful.

Gay people should be proud of the courage themselves for the courage they have to come out even with people scared or fearing them.

  • @alexjustalex1 Exactly.

  • @Mauhadeeb28 Yeah, I think circumstances of birth are something no one should be proud of, you have no say in it being proud of the way ypu were born is just the framework of racism

  • @alexjustalex1 You are correct!

  • @Mauhadeeb28

These days gay pride is a term that isn't reviewed on it's denotation but it's connotation of rallying a sense of homosexual community.

  • @RoyalAnarchist Very confusing. Just call it a homosexual community parade.
