Feist's song "Inside and Out" is much better then The Bee Gees' 1979 #1 hit, "Love You Inside Out". Her vocal performance suits the song better then the Barry Gibb's falsetto voice.

They wrote the music and words with great emotion and feel that make this song, as in most all of their music. Why do you think this is her most best and most popular song? uh, because it's just a cover. To even compare the 2 artists is crazy. And when her 15 minutes is up let's compare. Has much as a try to like it I cant. I was hoping it would pick up in: "Don't try to tell me its all over", but it just became worse. The original Bee Gees version is 100% better. The only other singer that has given a proper tribute to this song is Melinda in American Idol. But this version is dry, unmoving and requires a very powerful voice that Feist simply does not have.

The bee gees version is a million times better although they sort of go overboard with the mickey mouse singing. The problem I have with Feists version is it completely does away with that incredible rhythm the Bee Gees had in their version, nothing can beat that first verse they did, that start-stop rhythm.

I liked the Bee Gees version a lot, they are one of my favorite groups and I'm old enough to have actually been around when they were popular. I usually don't like cover versions, but I've got to stand up for this one as it completely blows the original out of the water. Her throaty vocals are perfect for this song, and the mixing up of the original 70's feel and modern beats is pure genius.
