@mpqcrew you can do that, but the software for it also has a feature to auto select pending how fast you move the wheel.

Your gear in the Scroll wheel has to be set in the setpoint software to free spin.

Heck, I had been a Logitech user for years before I switched to Razer. Well, my Razer Copperhead broke and they stopped carrying them at Best Buy. Well, I bought the MX Rev. on a friend's recommendation and have LOVED this mouse, even as a hardcore gamer coming off of a Razer streak.

I just hope you know that the "on off switch" is for the microgear scrolling. not to actually turn the mouse on and off. So maybe that is your scrolling problem with it not switching. :)

To bad the movement/free mode after a while about half a year or so it stops working decently and feels like gum, mine stopped working in free mode and normal scroll mode, it work only in this "gum" feeling mode the charger dont work very wel either anymore i need to position it very very precise, and the signal keeps falling away to

That sucks, I can press on top of the scroll wheel and it will normally switch scrolling types. I have had some signal problems, but i think that it is due to my usb hub.
