  • he is my mother's favorite. My father's favorite is Sun Ma Si Tsang

  • Mr. Ho is a nice man. Nothing wrong to show your passion of love. However, in the late 50's people were not that open to show their feelings.

  • 何非凡was my dad's faovrite cantonese opera singer

    Became my favorite also

    何非凡 was handsome and his unique doggy voice singing style made him one of the best attraction at the box office.

    He ranked up high among all other famous movie star and cantonese opera singer

    This is the best from 何非凡

    Never tied of listening

    Thanks for posting and sharing

    Hi, winklow

    Mr. Ho once ran a vegitarian restaurant around late 60's - mid 70's at mid Jordan Road, Yaumati, Kowloon.

    The shop was 'LUK YUNG SIN KOON' His kind of singing was named

    GAU... JAI... HONG

    meaning

    Dog...Boy...Voice

    Hope I reserve some..thing....

  • LUK = six

    YUNG = a tree call "YUNG SHUE"...Joey YUNG JO Yi's Yung....with 'muk' (wood) left-side

    SIN = fairy

    KOON = a sort of place/building for eating/rest..

  • Sorry, I made a mistake...

    LUK should mean 'green'

    So the name of the restaurant means a 'fairy (tea)house of/with green 'yung' tree'

  • Thanks, Zoundcraker...

  • It's great to hear Ho Fei Wan sing. Although I saw him as Lover Monk in Quangzhou in l947, I was too young, and I couldn't remember what he sounded like. So this recorded sound is "new" to me. Thank you. I saw him in person when he visited my club in the U.S. in 1959.
