i work quite often at the military room at gate A4 which is right across the concourse from gate A1 - the gate in the video - and man do these southwest pilots taxi in fast even the u.s. air pilots dont go that fast it's like watching drag racing but with a airplane

Pittsburgh is a great airport! I love the aesthetic appeal of airside and landside. Southwest is one of 3 LCC- Low Cost Carrier, and KPIT does not see much action. So keep flying KPIT and I hope you enjoy Orlando, my Hometown!!!!

I flew to Pittsburgh from Philadelphia with Southwest and it was the greatest airline I was ever on. Great video.

I grew up using Southwest a lot (it happens when you live in Houston), but I hardly fly them exclusively. I enjoy trying out as many airlines as I can. If you haven't ever flown AirTran, I would give them a try as well, they're doing really well these days. (Disclaimer: They employ me and I like getting paid).

Thanks! Unfortunately I don't recall, and because of Southwest's seating policies I don't have a record of it on my boarding pass. That is one nice thing about Southwest though, is you can scope out the best seat for this type of video on the spot, and not worry about having to guess on a computer screen.

The rules on Southwest are the same FAA regulations that exist on all airlines in the United States. So you would have to wait until the FA's have been seated.
