  • I was at the show and remeber it fondly

  • Page is gettin close to rockin a mullet at this venue . .

  • Who is playing drums?

  • attention non-phans: be careful for trey is volatile and could go off at any time!

  • thse guys are fucking ugly

do girl fish fans want to fuck them?

  • @jojojigaboo Ugliness is part of their charm. They're anti-rock stars for anti-establishment people who enjoy anti-heroes.

  • @jojojigaboo if you want pretty people go listen to some hollywood, doctored up garbage

  • Why is this not 30 minutes long....?! it needs to be....

  • i love this song wish they woulda played it new years

  • Been a Phan ever since hearing the album The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday when I was about 7 or 8.....I'm 27 now, and Phish, along with the Dead and Widespread and String Cheese have been the positive vibes I have needed to hold myself in line as far as social interaction. I was away for a while when they split, but I'm looking forward to getting back on the train, possibly July in Charlotte or Raleigh. Greetings to all my fellow kind heads in cool threads here on youtube. Peace.

  • @CharacterZero83 I hear you brother! SCI, WSP, Phish, these bands are TRULY inspirational and keep me goin on all levels. See you out there!

  • Spoken like a true stoner... well done!

  • wish they would go off longer after the vocals.... i could walk through forests and possibly smile at sarah palin at the space-iality of this ear honey. what a band

  • I know what you mean. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if they jammed this song out.

  • oh my god look at page! he looks so different

  • I find it funny that all of the band's early song lyrics were stolen from poetry written by the village idiot in Plainfield, Vermont when the guys were going to Goddard College! BTW they never paid the guy for them!

  • were do you get this stuff

  • Trey totally reminds me of Jerry Garcia

  • How?

  • I would say he rreminds me of Jerry for this reason: His music is good, but his over-the-top hippy dippy fans try to portray at as something far greater that what it is.

If it weren't for copious amount of marijuana and LSD, the crowd would fall asleep after the first hour.

  • That's just ridiculous, there are plenty of phish fans that don't use drugs.

  • Right, marijuana keeps a person awake for sure. It definitely doesn't have any sort of sleep effect.

  • Your pretty crazy man, I'm 15, I went to New Years Eve show cmopletely sober, and I can say that it was one the best times of my life.

  • @dillon1278 thats a good head start. I wish someone told me how good Phish was when I was your age. I had to break through the barrier of crappy mainstream pop and realize on my own what actually sounded good.

  • His guitar lines are so kaleidoscopic! Just like Jerry's!

Gawd if Jerry, Trey, and Warren Haynes could all three jam, my soul would explode.

  • @wiggaroo

    On steroids.

  • Saw them in '89 and was bored to tears.

  • Sorry you don't get it...

  • I don't "get it"?

You were 7 years old when I was

at this show. Care to tell me what

it was like, or could you not make it

    out that night?

It was a bunch of hillbilly crap and hard rock cover songs. Bored to tears. No one had ever heard of them at the time....and there was a good reason for it.

  • You can put your weed in there man...

  • I've been listening to the Grateful Dead non-stop for a full year and wanted to give Phish a shot, and if all of their other songs are as good as this, than damn! They are great!

  • this is my alltime favorite song. It always puts me in a good mood no matter what

  • love this song

  • I don't know why but the solo reminds me of the rugrat's theme song. Maybe it's just my childhood refusing to die

  • every ones child hood refuses to die ...i agree tho to

  • want them all to bounce around my room

  • this is one of those songs that gives you that weird unexplainable feeling of happiness and buttterflies in your stomache. or maybe I'm just a nutcase haha

  • naw, i had that when i first heard this song

  • You're nuts alright.

  • Page is on fire. And what someone else said about Trey is absolutely true...how he can do that crazy guitar and sing is beyond me. So good

  • I can't belive that Trey can do these incredible blues-licks and still sing at the same time!

  • Yeah, those kaleidoscopic guitar lines at the end are my favorite part.

  • "kaleidoscopic guitar lines". That's the coolest description of them I've ever seen!

  • Comment removed

  • so glad they're back

  • i think i might throw up before i see them at camden in a few months. sheer excitment! they're back and i couldnt be happier. it's like a long lost love has come back.

  • i'll be there too! i'm so stoked

  • go PHISH!!!!!!!

  • this is one of the coolest tunes I've ever heard. I'm new to Phish

I feel as if I'm choosing all of the right Phish songs to listen to, but it's just because Phish is amazing in general!

  • i'm sooo glad that they put out a pre-2000 show on DVD for once. Their energy was much better and they were having much more fun, which makes it more fun for the audience

  • Plus camera work at concerts was so much better in the '90's. In this DVD the camera will actually stay on one person for 1:00+, while on something new you're lucky to get 15 seconds

  • the most annoying dvd is Bullet in a Bible by Green Day. The camera can't stay still

  • maybe its just green day's shitty music

  • hahaha but i really liked American Idiot

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I like them, but thats so funny

  • @BassBeast42 Def man. I wouldn't mind the camera being on Trey's fretboard for an entire show. Better yet, Page's keys on one screen, one on trey's hands, one of mike's hands, one of Fish's set from top view. 4 screens, 1 for each, showing their every musical move haha. I can dream right? Peace man.

  • @BassBeast42 Well you have to understand that we have an amazingly clear picture of the suppression of the protests in Iran last summer due to cheap video technology also. I mean, with the democratization of data, you're gonna get about the same amount of people who would save up for years for nice equipment and who really care about what they are producing while you suddenly get an explosive abundance of film that captures just basic information with little care for its artistic merit.

  • PHISH RULES

  • I remember this show it ended early because of thunderstorms, it was pouring rain and nobody could find where they parked!!!!

  • yah trey looks alot like a hippy in this one

  • My fave song by Phish!!

  • As much as I like their music--we do two of their songs in my band--those guys just look like they smell bad.

  • WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE AWESOME! Smoke weed bitch.

  • Phish getting back together is the best news I've heard in a long time!

  • absolutly 1000% agree, its gunna be EPIC

  • why is part of the song cut off?

  • is trey wearing pajamas? haha

  • please post more vids :]

  • just buy the dvd

  • And I awoke...8))

  • Trey'd, Gordon'd, Page'd and Fish'd all at once! I think I'm gonna go into a coma... *faints*

  • 97 is my favorite year for phish

  • During this set I was 8 row center kickin it

  • My son Luke loves this song.
