F.Y.I for anyone who wants to know...You can also make the lower third see thru (transparent) by going to the generated media that you added on the timeline and click and hold down on the top of the generated media image then just drag down towards the bottom the further you drag down the more transparent it becomes. =)

To add a Key Frame, I just double click at the end of the timeline bar....no need to move the scrubber.

Ok...This was so simple and well put. Yet I don't know whats going on when I drag the lower third to the bottom it's moving but it wont move in my event screen. Am I missing something?

Yu need to expand the popup window. Just drag it a bit and the keyframes will appear again.

Well, Camtasia is a great screen recorder, but for the zooming in & out I use keyframes in Sony Vegas. I think I did a video on that, if not just search Youtube for "Sony Vegas Keyframes" on Youtube and yu should find lots of tutorials.

I got it to animate but when I try to down size it won't spread to each corner like your in the track motion box. When I go to right hand corner and bring it down in just makes it small or big. It does form the lower third shape what coulb be wrong?

I had the same problem...

You need to un-check the "Lock Aspect Ratio" option in the toolbar.

Hey, when I go to my noise generator there is no timeline to "double click" to add animation to the noise. I am using Sony vegas pro 8.0 when I first went into the noise properties it was there but I must of bumped something and I can't get it back

On my old channel wmv @ 1mbs worked great but now it seems youtube has changed & the transitions, swipes, & fast movements are all pixilated & crappy looking.

i use 'Hypercam 2' for screen recording. You can get it for free, except the free version leaves a watermark at the top of your screen, this doesn't appear when you buy it (it's about £20, unless you download a crack, then it's all free lol)

I've always liked Vasst Ultimate S... Not only does it do the lower thirds, but makes multiple cam editing a breeze and pic montages a snap but mostly I like it because I am incredibly lazy.

Although what you just showed is $0.00 (minus tthe cost of Vegas) Ultimate S is like $160 I think.
