I grew up watching great TV shows like Thunderbirds, Capitan Scarlet, Space 1999. All have extensive disaster sequences and great explosions. That's what is called entertainment. Did my parents stop me from watching this...NO

In video was my little version of what I grew up watching on TV, way too many bubble wrapped kids getting around today and over protective parents. Sure I'm a dad and I want my kids to enjoy all that's available

I renamed the engines as a thankyou to the people who did the voice characters for me, it was the least I could do considering they did such a good job for me. This is one of the most asked questions, and thats fine, I can see it has caused lots of confusion in the Thomas world, the video was initally never made for the Thomas audience, it was made as a custom parody of the series made for people who may have never seen the series,

No it was made well before youtube ever existed, its just something I tinker with in my spare time, sorry if that sounds weird.

It cost around $400 to make, most of that was spent buying the model trains.

It took lots of month to make this video and right now I am doing it again, hopefully it will be as well received as episode 1, time will tell.

i believe the model was duck, I found there were about 3 ertl models which had the correct guage wheels, most were too narrow.

Rolling Stock was shot with a Sony Digital 8 camera, the cost of the production was around $400 AUS, half that cost was buying the model trains. This price does not include any hours spent making the video.

I only bought one (andy)diesel as it is never seen after the second explosion, you would assume that it was completly destroyed. I dare say the diesel will make a comeback with a new coat of paint.

I flicked the blades with my finger just before shooting the shot. You only ever see the helicopter for a fleeting moment, I could have used compressed air, but a flick is easier.

The BD crane was moved with cotton string, if the string was in shot I removed it with a wire removal tool in Adobe 'after effects' I will cover this issue in 'making of' 3
