I have to agree SF4 disappointed I was really looking forward and yes first playing it I was like hmm they look a little buff but man still everything looks amazing anime opening and endings good good BUT then as I played more the acual game play just was NOT deep enough. True SF 3 3rd strike is definatley the best looking to date but remember that was a SEGA dreamcast port. which makes me ask a very important question. KOF XII is 2D and possibly the gratest rival or stand by for 3rd strike (in a beat em up fans eyes)so can the underestimated KOF of consoles PS2 handle this game. I hope so, SNK have always known how to push boundries, so can they do it again? fingers crossed on both hands.

As for the comparison to SF3, the big difference is that SF3 is still low-res (384x224, just like CPS1 and CPS2 games). KOFXII looks as though it'll be in full HD resolution.
