no offense, love the move but its hard for me to respect a bjj video tht avertises marijuana just show us the technique and i promise you can smoke some marijuana after....
@theawakener7 Translation: You're a scumbag who cons people out of their money using Bruce Lee's name and vague mystical bullshit talk to sell your ineffective dog shit techniques, whilst not-so-subtly trashing people who study shit that actually works.
I'm only just getting into this stuff, this is the first "technique" video I've seen, so I had to get past the homophobia element. But these moves are like art. Every step is a reaction to an opponent's defense.
i use the rubber guard 75% of the time and mix in royce gracie jits 25%...i practiced this move over and over today and couldnt submit a training partner nor did i feel enough choke to tap either.felt pressure on shoulders and one side of the neck but theres nothing on the other artery to cutoff circulation
@10thPlanetRiverside it is good to control the guy that but i think in my opinion that it takes too much time and effort and guy is not just gonna sit there.. i think % of success is very low... maybe not for u lol...but i think people shouldn't really focus on doing that and waste time on control to get the arm or a sub.. the agility and flexibility of your move on the other hand is extraordinary...
@nosweattkennels This isn't a choke, it just sets up a bunch of stuff... from omo/mono/gogo/double arm in triangle, armbar or even straight jacket or a sweep. The thing about rubber guard is that there are multiple offensive options from every position.
been studying Aiki-jujutsu for 6 yrs. i cant do much on the ground. 10th planet techniques are wonderful. any suggestions on how to get combat savvy with some of the techniques? maybe some lend themselves to self defense more-so than others? i question the practicality of it all in combat.
The set up is probably new but the double arm triangle isn't. Nino schembri, ricco rodriguez, and elvis sinosic have all done a variation of this in fights. either way, it was beautiful!
@ccicc I've done it in competition. What up now? Don't believe me? I got the vid up on here. Not exactly the same but close enough. Click on my channel and watch the vid that's 40 seconds long.
mmm. i'm a smaller guy and would never be able to maneuver my short legs like that. i have enough difficulty just grabbing my foot for the double bagger, but very nice stuff.
Word man...i'm a smaller dude with shorter legs but my flexibility is good and all the 10th planet techniques are accessible to me. Just gotta put effort into the stretches like you say
i have very good flexibility. (i can put leg over head) i discovered that to grab the foot for double bagger, i have to shift slightly to the left. just a little bit of adjustment makes al the difference.
dude, thanks so much. i get stuck in that exact scenario all the time. if there's any other attacks from that position (when the guy grabs the foot) that you can share, please do.

its not a choke its just a better way to trap the shoulder to take the arm if you have the flexability. its tighter than just crossing your feet

i dig it.
hard to tell: is this a choke? or just tight control to attack the arm?
it looks like it would put someone to sleep, but the tap seems like its coming from the arm.
