haha to all the noobs! "man u need more nitrogen ur leaves are dying!" "u need hydrogen to help with the yellowing of the leaves!" everyone stfu if u don't know wft ur talkin bout! in the last 3 or 4 weeks of flowering, the leaves start to turn yellow due to the lack of nitrogen cuz it uses all nitrogen to boost the flowers...and it is completely normal. you use less nitrogen during flowering so less fan leaves will grow and add phosphorous and magnesium for bud production. dumb asses!

no, the bottom leaves turning yellow in the "flowering" stage is normal. It means you have a nitrogen definciancy wich is normal at that stage and you want the plant to focus more on phosphorus and less nitrogen....sorry i can be a bad spellar :(

Down there street i can get 100watt CFLs

1 is 100watt 1700 lumen

and another is 100watt 2800 lumen.

The difference in price is also $35

CFL have a bad rep cuz of cheap version, but trust me. they can do the job and do it will if done right.

i recommed using t5 bulbs. they're more energy efficient and has less heat than a CFL. however, it's a pricier bulb than a CFL.

i've topped plants in vegitative state about 100 times so that i get a good yeild when I flower. yellowing that one guy was right its feeding the buds, I would cut some fan leaves off to expose some of those bottom nugs.IVXX

look everyone has their opinions about topping, lst, supercropping and blah blah.. what works great for me is topping my plants after i get a couple 5 bladed leaves.. plant is strong then and gives you plenty of time to top and re-top.. most strains can take a lot of stress..becuz its a weed... you'd be surprised at how much u can manipulate the growth pattern

Atually the yellowing leaves is nothing to worry about, its a good thing. The plant is 'caniblising' (recycling the sugar store in its leaves to feed the buds) Take the leaves off once they turn completly yellow.

You look up any info on topping... its got to be done during the flowering period, most even tell you to top a couple of weeks into flowering (cant say i agree with that!). I've used my technique countless times and have never been let down.

Cut the top off the growing plant, just under the node (the branch where the leaves are growing from) you can top a plant multiple times, so going from 1 main bud to 2, top those 2 and they turn into 4!! Be careful tho, too much pruning can stress the plant and fuck up the yeild altogether. Peace

during flowering u will u be giving ur plant more phosphorus than nitrogen so usually during last couple of weeks of flowering leafs will start to yellow because of lack of nitrogen which is alright u want ur plant to use up all the nutrients
