The tracking rod broke on the right side half way down the straight causing the kart to weave. The tire kept straight until the throttle was released and the kart decelerated. There is photo evidence to prove this event. The shoe lace got stuck afterwards. The events happened so quickly that it's very hard to see what actually happened.
