@kijijiful That is a 1988 fender statocaster and yes, a stratocaster is good to get. But ultimately you should find one that you like. Go to a guitar store and hold them in your hands. Get the one you like. Then practice. Thanks for asking.

@wepri679 THommy is my wife's old phd advisopr who got a guitar for christmas. I got the flip cam for father's day and the video's are supposed to be "lessons" for THom! Things have gotten a little out of hand as you can tell. THom is a lazy bum who writes books and shit but has not picked up his guitar. The cat is named Henry Boris but I call him Frank. Thanks!
