i think they raise a good point - many subcultures generate quite an intense enthusiasm for their genre - where knowledge and wide listening has alot of currency...if drum and bass does go mainstream then it would be nice for that to remain...

I personally think pendulum's stuff is most prone to poppy vibes - so it could well be an exception to the rule - rather than an exception that will become the rule.who knows tho anyway!

haha where's the love man - they were just a few thoughts - its a bit gay saying that my whole music life is shallow based on a few comments. i love music man as i'm sure you do too - its great to have an open mind and love all music - but it can be closed minded to ignore some of the debates that surround certain genres.
