We're doing this play. I am playing Einstein and luckily my friends are playing Gaston, Freddy, and Picasso. I like working as Einstein. We're really getting into this play. XD
Gaston and Freddy are really good. Germaine's just fine, pretty good actually. Einstein seems suuuuper young and naive; i know he's 25, but he's still Einstein, haha, idk, I just envisioned him different haha this seems more like a 13 year old Einstein. I like his physicality though. And Suzanne kind of gets on my nerves; idk, just not how I picture the character. Her technique is fine-- loud, clear, good inflection-- just not a fan of the character work. Sagot, I liked. Good and funny and....
interesting. XD Haha sorry for all the critique, I probably didn't need to say any of that-- "No difference," right? ;) But sometimes I can't help myself haha. All-in-all, a pretty swell production, awesome set, good filming, da works haha. Just little ickle things that bothered me, but it's pretty hard to avoid that. ;] I'm currently in a production of this as Countess so it's interesting to watch this; thanks for uploading! :]
@harrisonm Thank ya, kindly. Do you still act? If so, is it torture to watch your acting from two years ago? I mean, for most people it's torture all the time no matter how outdated, but you might have improved a lot since then, and it could be painful to watch. I'm just curious because I haven't had any of my shows filmed since 2nd grade. You shouldn't be tortured though, because like I said, your performance was awesome heh, just curious. =P
@AnanaMango I do still act. I have been in a lot of plays and I do find it difficult to go back and look at my work. However, I do also find that it does help cause you can see things that you may want to improve upon. I am more of a comedy guy and recently I have been doing more drama, so that has been a bit of a chore for me. Regardless, acting is a fun hobby for me and I am appreciate all the comments. Hope all is well!
@harrisonm, you sound like Jonny Depp a bit, he doesnt like to see his own films, Johnny is terrify by the dailies. Thank you so much for uploading this play :)
Yes certainly an interesting production to watch having studied the play... I am currently playing Suzanne and was interested in how she's portrayed in this version.
hehe i love angie! ive done only...i think 2 shows at this theater company...this was like the first place i ever did plays. ross is funny XD angie you're awesome!!! -alley XD
This is interesting to watch. We're doing this show at my college right now. I'm playing Einstein. I've got an almost opposite take on the character, but it's interesting to see the difference.
My high school is doing this play but we were made to edit it down A LOT!!! We can't even say "I have to pee". It's so depressing. I'm playing Germaine and one of my whole scenes got cut out. :( Great job with this though:)
I did this play in highschool and played Gaston, probably my favorite play ever. I did Gaston with a french accent, i think it made the character funnier. But the man here did a great job to.
Hehe, I was the guy who played Gaston. I had actually played Sagot in another production. Sometimes the show is done with accent and sometimes not. In this cas,e it was the choice to do it without. I can go either way with it! Thanks for your kind words!
Well you were amazing, and I really enjoyed the way you played Gaston. It was very different from the way I did it, and it is always good to see a character in new light.
wow lol yeah I love him, err you in this production you do great work! interesting really, because we have a female playing sagot in ours just because not enough guys tryed out, Thats my fav part about this version is sagot lol
my school was doing this, but then some lady cryed about it because it was not "suiting" and now we cant do it because our high school shut it down...I was playing freddy it really sucks we were 3 weeks into it too... By the way Sagot is very very good, I love watching him its fun.
@Iamblack9 You should have gone against the prudist terror and staged this fantastic show, poor US American! Next time don a beret and answer just like the gentleman in the play: "But I am French!" Speak through your nose, hardly an English speaker knows how to reply :-)
The Governor's School of the Arts Theater is doing this! im in it as the female admirer. except we are changing to where shes a prostitute. its so funny
I haven't seen the last character (or 2? or 3?) yet. but i bet the "charismatic, dark-haired singer time warped in from a later era." is you. In fact I would bet real money on it. It sounds like Sharon's with Christopher.
The time warped character is not me. I am Sagot, the art dealer. :) And who are Sharon and Christopher? No one in the play by those names, actors or fictional characters.

Everyone seems a bit high on energy for me...but that's probably just because I"m used to the way the cast I'm in has been rehearsing it. Nice job!
