  • @moosecurrybelmont You were lucky to have the experience. He was very special.

  • I am his son, Adrien - it is surreal and great to see his online presence these days!

  • What I would give to see Lou Miami and the Kozmetics tonight. I saw Lou a million times in the old days, I remember him opening for Iggy Pop and after his set Iggy walked on Stage and kissed hime on the mouth.

  • Thanks for watching, it was so much fun to do. We all miss Lou

  • great to see the video to this, thanks !

  • OH YEAH ~ wow, still holds up just as awesome as ever. don't look at mah face!

  • Oh sorry never mind that last post and this one

  • Adam

  • Who's this?

  • My sister

  • Valy

  • @aristocritique1 That's so cool, who is this Veronica?

  • My mom is in one hundred years from today, she was friends with Lou. I'm quite jealous.

  • @aristocritique1 Wow! I directed the piece, can you tell me who your mom is?

  • how prophetic seeing in 1995 Lou died from AHEM! NATURAL CAUSES!

  • @richyrollins

    Hi Richy,

I was a close friend of Lou's at the time of his death. For the record he did not die of "natural causes", he died of a heart attack in his apartment. Weak hearts ran in all the men in his family and in fact his father and grandfather before him both died of heart attacks at relatively young ages as well.

  • A true great in the greatest era of music in Boston and beyond.....

  • I don't think I ever saw any of these videos but used to see Lou all the time at the Channel. Looking for "Blind Girl", anyone have a video of that song?

  • Amazing clarity for such old video. 1982?

Forgot about this song but thinking about it now, it should of been LOUS break out national hit. Song has everything-Graveyards, the RAT and goth chicks...

  • who's the blonde guy in the black leather helmut/hat? He looks familiar. I think he worked on Newbury Street in Boston. Is his name, EDDY Kant? hmmmm. long time ago

  • This is so cool............RIP Lou Miami.........and Jack...........shame...........

I came across this band one fun evening at Jack's in Cambridge.......

Lou was quite a unique individual......

I just love watching him....He ALWAYS stopped the crowd dead in their tracks and got them going............too bad he is no longer with us :(

    Great video.......He will live on...............

For what it's worth....I actually like 'this' version better than the 2nd version...........

  • This is excellent!

    Thank you!

Too bad there isn't a good reissue of his records...

  • This is exceptionally well done.

  • Lou rip you were great!

  • The Big Guy on WMWM 91.7 fm made you famous to us 1980ish ... XOXO
