  • Of course ol' Bill Clinton wants sweatshop type labor hyped his wife is on the board of directors of Walmart in the good ol' US Bible Belt.As for Bush his ties with Haliburton speak for themselves.

  • Mr. Randall Robinson inspired me so much!Being out of Haiti for the past six Years (Germany/Saxony),I had the Chance to know what really occured in my own Country.

    This is just Insane to see How the International Community made it possible for Haiti not beeing able to celebrate its 200 Years of Independence.

    Let me end this by saying that "He who knows,Feels the Pain"

  • "Haitians are an industrious people" LOL. This guy is funny.

  • @dmc7777

    just because you are insecure about your genitalsize doesn't mean that a whole group of people has to downsize themselves to fit your needs?

    You've brought up the population problem, that depends on income, education and culture more than genitalsize, look at China..India.. Asia as a whole, they oppose the black stereotype and still have problems keeping their numbers in check. Shall we make them become christians and kill each other?

    either

    u mad

    or

    well trolled

  • @dmc7777 excuse me, but what the FUCK is your dumb ass talking about?...trust me, the more you keep your mouth closed, the safer everyone within earshot of you will be. Here I am talking about systemic racism, and all you have to offer to the dialogue is something about "big black dicks"...just shut the fuck up.

  • i wish y'all really knew how evil these governments that rule us really are. i know it may seem like a conspiracy but when you study the bible prophecy you will come to realize that these powerful government are wolves in sheep's clothing. they live with greed and lust to fullfil their evil desires on the cost of helpless people. they got your mind focus on illusions with their veneers and facades. in this world truth is secondary to deception. the only hope of people of color is in Jesus alone

  • I try not to analyze why politics are able to play such a negative role in tragedies that affect minorities....because political discussion will ALWAYS distract us from the REAL ISSUE,most of the time, in my opinion. But I will say this because its such an elephant in the room: When and where will the conversation take place that involves why DARK SKINNED AFRICAN PEOPLE, are continuously left behind in situations that are impossible to overcome?...why are they feared and despised and punished?

  • Now is the time to help Haiti, not to politicize. Put out the fire, then talk about how it started. Thank you, Mr. Robinson.

  • Not if puting out the fire involves laying the kindling for an even bigger fire.

  • "Without sharing there can be no justice;

    without justice there can be no peace;

    without peace there can be no future."

    Maitreya, the World Teacher

  • Haiti to receive the same Shock Doctrine (Naomi Klein) as was given New Orleans...and to think the same country who exiled a democratically appointed president to do anything else is insanity.

  • Robinson had better be willing to engage this question (about the history of US economic and political intervention in Haiti) even in the face of this terrible crisis, because the political right is seizing this opportunity to frame Haiti in the public mind (see David Brooks' column in the New York Times today).

    Politics never takes a holiday -- neither does the battle of ideas.

  • @classic14rider

    Do you know what its like to be kicked when you are already down? As a Haitian, this is how it feels to hear all the horrible things that are said about us in this time of devastation by some American racists. Mr. Robinson is a breath of fresh air for me.

  • Im from the UK, but I know of haiti's proud history of fighting opression and defeating the french who at the time were the most powerful army. my best wishes and prayers fo to the ppl of haiti. I hope with time haiti gets the justice it has been long owed

  • surely, you understand that YOUTUBE is one of many forums that will allow jackasses to say what they want to say, without being seen or called to the carpet. Its a cowardly dig, rooted in fear. All I have to say is that in the not-so-distant future, the white/black racism wont be the issue that it is now because WHITE PEOPLE will be the minority in this country. THATS REALLY WHAT THE RACISTS ON THIS THREAD ARE AFRAID OF, my friend. I'll contunue to pray for your people.

  • @classic14rider If its appropriate for American Media to tag Poorest Country in the Western Hemisphere every time they mention Haiti, even in this crisis, what is wrong with Mr. Robinson telling the truth about Haitis history and the International communitys attitude towards it?

  • @BabyPaup My sympathies and prayers go out to the people of Haiti as well as non-Haitian victims of this tragedy

    I don't fault Robinson for defending/explaining Haiti in his books (I am still in the stage of trying to learn more about Haiti)

    My criticism is that he participated in this interview but refused to discuss the political and economic history because, he said, that this was not a time to discuss it 4:00

    Other people are framing Haiti NOW in the public mind in a negative way
