Anyhow, the stories of "Heer Ranjha", Sas'si Pun'noo, Sohni mahiwal etc. are totally against our culture/ custom and usage (rasm o rawaj). In our practical family lives, nobody even can imagine his sister/ daughter to be Heer, Sas'si or Sohni.

and this man talking rubbish ,.ranjha was from takhat hazara .i did my matric in takhat hazara .and i have alos saw that house .which ppls says this is ranjha's house ..my village is only 10 KM far from takhat hazara ..but this man is really good actor lol..thnx for vdo anyway..missing pakistan even more now :(

I just uploaded this video to just show you a viewpoint otherwise i explained the situation in the caption - the point is; made up stories don't leave elements behind - but here you can find everything..... I mean; you can find Ranjha's in that area - you can find Siyaals in Jhang - you can find their villages - you can find Chenab river.

Thanks, I love this talk after so many years I have heard some one talking in my language. I donot know why you started to find any real link to this story of heer ranjha which is offcourse a madeup story. A real literary work. There will be some links. Like names of the places or may be one or two characters might also exist. Writers make up stories and get lot from surroundings but it was a story after all. I appreciate your effort but I tatally agree with the uncle. May he live long.
