I guess the only question I would have is, if there are many preachers with the gift of healing and miracles, How come they don't walk in the hospitals of sick children and heal all of them? Am sure they would believe if this happens; just do it like Jesus did. Am sure if fire of the spirit fell, people would be transformed totally. I don't doubt the power of God, but he is sovereign and does things according to his will not ours. We can't demand things from him. Only God knows who is real.

It's hard to remain objective when you allow the emotion take control but clearly, it's easy to speak of these miracles of lung cancer and skin cancer but where is the objective evidence? Miracles are like UFO's some believe, some don't but no one has incontrovertible proof.

in Acts, it says the tongues were LIKE fire... Jesus appeared as though His eyes were like fire too... Were His eyes fire? And the angels had raiments that shone LIKE lightning... and He had skin LIKE burnished brass...

the same Greek word is used: "osei", and it's saying that these things were glowing brightly... if they were fire, it would say "of fire" - tou puros

paul was "anointed" w/ the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel (2 cor. 2:21-22, read in context of the whole book). the Spirit enables us to live a holy life (rom. 8:1-11; gal. 5:16-6:10). the Spirit seals the elect as sons (eph. 1:13; 4:30). we are to pray for the Spirit's power in our lives, which paul says is to "strengthen us inwardly, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith" (see eph. 3:14-21). the Spirit fills us to worship (eph. 5:18-21) & to endure the devil (6:10-20). c'mon guys!

i actually feel ashamed when i watch this as a Christian. i think the greek word that describes these men is best translated "hucksters" (2 cor. 2:17). um, the gospel is where? um, the hope of a condemned sinner is what? damn this man-centered 'gospel' (who doesn't want to be physically healed, or be rich, or have a big house & no problems?) um, the gospel saves me from sin, not poverty!
