@jgdogg441 actually.,.warriors of the wind was a crappy first version that came to the USA and forced ghibli to begin making sure the movies were UNCUT.then disney later released the true version Valley of the wind.Ironically..the cut version was so bad,someone sent a katana in the mail to ghibli to tell them NO CUT for Princess Mononoke. as for Miyazaki..he says everyone should forget "warriors" ever existed.XD yes...they made a cut version THAT bad.

@jgdogg441 Actually i just find it funny as hell that someone actually sent a sword threat in the mail and wasn't sued or anything in the least. For a Cut Movie to be THAT bad...kami...im glad even the studio agreed.

Btw,if you look on youtube or Ghibli's website,besides a NEW movie in development,they also have a video game being made by Ghibli!

いかにも風に乗るメーヴェって感じ。しかし、寝そべったままじゃ­着地の衝撃けっこうありそうだな。前脚のソリ無かったらひっくり­返るね。

原作みたいにふわっと落とせたら面白いね。

Hmm, well it's based on the Möwe jet glider in Nausicaä, so in terms of the aesthetics, they drew from that.

- Wikipedia: The möwe has an approximate wingspan of 5.8 meters (1/20 model measured to be 29cm), and is only 12kg according to the design notes.[8] In 2004, the Japanese-led OpenSky Aircraft Project began attempts to build a real-life, working Möwe.[9]

Also, they're not yet at the stage where they're confident in powering the glider, so yeah, it's unpowered, and it's being pulled.

in the movie, it seemed to be propelled by ionized air, perhaps they could use it as an excuse to experiment on the use of the technology in those air purifiers as a new type of propulsion.
