Hey just thought I'd mention you've got part of the song wrong.
The D is counted for a full 2 measures from the chorus, "Black-throated wind..." You need to play D again before you start the C#m the first time, then the 2nd time you play it as you do in the tab.
You are good . . . very good. But you need to stop dropping vocal octaves because you think that you can't hit the notes. Bobby was singing off key most of the time.
Let it rip and don't worry about it. Your guitar work is outstanding!
As an old Deadhead from the 60s and 70s who went to all the Bay Area concerts, I have to say... damn good! This isn't an easy song to sing, and you did a good job. And thanks for showing the guitar licks - inspiring.
