  • well in the dvd that comes with shotters nation mick says that they wanted to make a song thats sounds like the kinks .....

to be honest babyshambles lyrics are alot better than the other song in my opinion

  • They're in different keys but yes, it's the same progression. Regardless, as

CrackysHouse said and with the issue of tempo notwithstanding, it's a standard Rock & Roll riff not unlike The Kinks' "You Really Got me Now".

  • if u must know they wanted to do a song that they really liked, the song was 'all day and all of the night' by the kinks so this fletchers thing is a rip of the kinks...but then again all music is stolen from other people...look at hip hop.

  • Its a basic rock riff!!!! They are both good and different songs that happen to have a very similar guitar riff. Its a guitar riff. Its been used before and it will be used agian. Anybody who thinks Delivery is a rip off of anything doesnt know a thing about music.

  • "Summer Holiday And Me" from the jessica fletchers is the much much better song, if they would date stupid drug models and have rich daddys this would have been a big world hit song.

  • The chord combination F G Bb is in about 100 songs! its common! difference is, babyshambles used it in a more successful way

  • 100 songs at least! people rate honest comments as being poor on you tube as i can see.

  • "Wonder where Pete Doherty got that riff from"

Well first, he doesn't write everything on his own, second they stole it from The Kinks ;)

  • For some reason I don't think it matters. & I think you spelt "sure" wrong.
