In argentina they're about 800 pesos, which is likely 220 dollars or so. On squier's website suggested price on official sellers is 200 dollars, so its quite fine. Remember that im talking about China bullet strats, you might have seen a korean strat, probably affinity series.
i swear my bullet is like a cheap remake, it only has one pickup, i dunno if thats exactly what they are called, i am new to the guitar and stuff but its the things that pick up the noise for the amp so it is kinda logical xD
You either got a defect Bullet or you got the OLD bullet model that got taken off the marked because.. Well because it was crap. The re-issued Bullet sounds great and is cheap as hell-aswell! The new model got 3 singlecoil pickups, cheap ones, but they do the trick.
dude i got one of theese my cuz found in a car he scraped, play through a bos br8 studio, and my onkyo home stereo, and i cant believe the tone i get from this axe, the only thing i dont like is when u do alot of bends it goes out of tune fast, i play mostly blues through the delayed lead, and soldano preamp cab and it sounds sweet too.
nice playing! Man i wanna get one of these... i'm confused! Bullet or Affinity? Affinity costs around $250 around here and Bullet only $180... but some say Affinity has better quality and lasts longer... grrrr somebody help!
Nice playing by the way. ...Wait i already said that. yea, u get my point. ^_^
where do you live? here in the states the bullet is 99 new and affinity is 150...and now they have squier standards for 199 that are eqiupt with duncan designed pickups.....thanks for the compliment i appreciate it!
Bullets better then Afinity in my opinion, I own one but I own the Special, however I think the neck might be roating but 100 bucks for a guitar thats 5 years old and I don't care if the woods roating it'll probably last a few more years. haven't seen a Squire Standard though so check those out.
hey thanks for the heads up im gonna head over and take a look i picked up an 80's model korean squier today pearl metallic white....real nice looking sounds pretty good but im gonna swap the pickups with the prewired pickguard from guitar fetish ill have to get a video posted
watched some review and said this bullet is not suit into metal/rock genre, isnt it ? cause im going to buy a cheap guitar for home recording and are making choice between this bullet and epiphone SG310.
no the bullet does not suit metal....rock yes but not metal....if your into metal i would look into an ibanez but you have to understand single coil pickups werent designed for metal there more for blues classic rock clapton that type thing...hope i could help
Cheers! Nice playing. Quick question: I'm looking to buy a cheap electric guitar. Is it worth to pay more for a squier affinity or I should just buy a bullet?
yea i would go with the affinity series but instead of buying it new try searching at local music shops for a used one and usually there already set up as well...because every guitar needs a proper setup to sound right and a set up can run you over 100 dollars depending on where your from thanks for the comment!
i doubt it the body is just to thin....id probally never be satisfied with it and it would upset me to put to much money into it for nothing lol i have other strats i just picked this one up on the cheap and got more than i expected out of it lol
hey m an it depends on your style..granted i cant get that really nice thick twangy strat tone from it...it does have twang but not quit thick enough but for smaller people who cant handle the weight of say a les paul than this would be great for them..you can also get alot of nice punk tones from it due to the thiness....its def well worth the price and sounds better than what its worth in my opinion its nothing to gig with or anything though lol
Nice tone! I have 2 bullets, one HH and just a regular one with single coils. I like the single coils better, they pick up less back round noise.

Throw down the extra 60bucks and buy the locking tuners. If you do that you won't experience those problems again.
