Sadly there is no solution. GH doesn't read the cymbals as cymbals.

No they don't work... I'm not 100% about GH5, but I'm pretty sure they don't work with ANY GH game. Not sure about the 360 or Wii though.

There are no Rock Band 1 cymbals. You can't plug cymbals into the 1st Rock Band drum kit.

Umm I always heard that there was some option you picked, you read off that it says 4 pad, from what I have heard about how the cymbals work you're suppose to pick like in a menu that you're using a rock band controller with cymbals. what happens is that when u combine a cymbal with a pad it gets confused and just says its disconected. you can use them with the cybal by itself. TRY IT

Same problem no matter what RB drumset you use, it is a bug but hopefuly they will fix it soon, At first RB pads did not work at all with GH but they took care of that
