  • well recorder person .hope your other video s have better sound,,good luck,,I gone

  • Merry Christmas Buster Keaton, wherever you are :)

  • Growing up we never opened up Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. Im not sure why people do that. Thats sorta cheating. We always waited til CHRISTMAS DAY to open our presents. Thats how you should do it. Also it gives you something to look forward to.

  • I could see tears coming into Buster's eyes..and now one can say that"The Great Stone Face"has the face of a kindly and sweet man.

  • Normally..I'm not a Buster Keaton Fan..but this show..I enjoyed his performance as"Charlie"the shy but kindly hospital janitor..who gives those lonely kids a Merry Christmas..God Bless You Buster.

  • This was my first time seeing this show. I loved it. We need this type of family enjoyment back again.

  • Tonight I'll be imagining Buster Keaton as Santa delivering presents to my house :)

  • @MissGoldenDreams13 Joseph Francise Keaton the Sixth Thanks You so Much -

Merry Christmas to your Family - May God Bless you by the Life of His First Begotten Son Jesus

  • I haven't cried this hard since my little brother passed away nearly 3 months ago.. After watching the end of this, I want to go out and tell everyone they should watch this, and stop pushing the true meaning of Christmas to the side, and to keep the day that Christians celebrate the birth of our Savior focused on Him. Nowadays, you scarcely even hear a Christmas song about Christ 's birthday on the radio. Why has this happened to us?

  • I absolutely hate to complain about this episode, but, what is wrong with the audio? IS it something that can be fixed? I sat here and cried my eyes out at the end of this, and, I would love to share this with people, but am afraid that the high pitched sound throughout the video track might cause them not to want to watch it.

Thank you, so very much, for posting this, and MERRY CHRISTmas, to all!

  • A wonderful tv show from when television had a purpose, to inspire us

  • I wish I could have lived in a time when prime time network television was like this. Imagine a celebration of Christ's birth on network tv!

  • "Let's do something nobody's ever done before." How beautiful can you get, for the 50's-60's?

  • Such a classic moment and one of my most cherished memories as a kid...Moments like these will always keep the true spirit of Christmas and giving alive in our hearts!

  • Thank you. I've never seen The Donna Reed Show before and this was a wonderful introduction. And dear Buster!

  • Glad to see that others recognized the iconic silent film star Buster Keaton.

I'll be curious to find out if any TV shows will have "Christmas'y" episodes this year.

  • This side of the-pond our so-called Christmas-specials are mostly unwatchable; how can violence, family-breakdown... be created as 'family-entertainment', yuk :(

  • Incredible episode...nothing in the vast wasteland of television can compare to shows like this one. What a great post...thanks, Christmasfellow2008!

  • Thank you very much for posting this. I was feeling really horrible the way things have been going, but this just made me feel good. Thanks

  • Why has America strayed so far from this? Christmas was truly about giving and birth of Christ and Santa represented giving to all with Jesus still at the forefront. Today you can't even say Christmas or talk about Santa?! Un-American. Every1 should watch this episode & if you still believe saying Merry Christmas is not PC--leave the country! I bet you're the same people who thinks its ok to have your kids watch sex and violence on tv but don't think THAT is harmful! How backwards!

  • Oh wonderful I have a new christmas classic.

  • aww so cute love it an was donna crying at the end?!

  • The end of this one made me cry! Great episode!

  • Yep. When those tears started forming in Buster Keaton's eyes and he was holding his first present, I was very moved.

  • @mem56 It did me too. Those were the days when Christmas meant so much more about the true meaning, than it does in today's world.

  • @mem56 ~ Made me cry too, I never saw the Donna Reed show, I heard about it tho' I was born in 1966....Just decided to watch this with a co-worker who is young enough to remember the show, were both sitting here crying....What wonderful writing and what wonderful acting....

  • How great to see Buster, thanks for sharing!!
