@cookingwithalia I like both the videos, and think you should check out the competition website - indiais.org
The only thing is the video length will need to be slightly trimmed down to a maximum of 3 mins! I'm sure it won't be a big hassle for you and there's a massive upside in entering such a competition.
Really look forward to receiving at least 1 entry from your amazing expedition around India. :)
@cookingwithalia WOW!! you've done a great job and captured the essence in a fun and engaging way. The gentle giants are indeed a magnificent species. Well done! :)
Have you heard about this Global Video Challenge which focuses on India? It's called "India Is" and your video is a perfect candidate for the competition. I would recommend u check it out and consider submitting your video.Wish you the best and hope the world appreciates your video as much as I have.
@cookingwithalia Hey.. Have you given any thought to which video you would like to submit? Take the effort to make the small edits needed, it will be worth it for sure..
Hope you do.. :) If you have any problems or questions - send an email to contact@indiais.org and they shall respond and sort it out within 24 hours.
Look forward to sharing your video with the world. Good luck!
@Shenzo33 Thank you for checking in! it's in my to do list. I am looking for royalty free music that I can use because the music in this video is copyrighted. I will work on it in the next couple of days and submit a new version of my video before the 31st deadline! exciting!
@cookingwithalia bathing an elephant....WOW! im frm india myself but never got a chance to bath elephants. i REALLY envy u! with all respect to other animals...elephants among the most WONDERFUL animals around. im glad that in ur videos, uve shown that there is more to india than SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE type stereotypes. thank u alia.
I'm tired of people showing the poverty striken areas of the North, which is very hectic & populated, hence harder to maintain and live in... ! Travel down India and you will be gradually Amazed..., Travel & reality shows should highlight India's rich beauty & travel south not film the North and its Harsh living standards and make a global image of India seem poor !, I'm not Indian but I know how the media world is and where they can gain interest and make the most money....
@cddddzthab That's wrong. Don't create a North-South divide here. North India has plenty of tourist attractions which include the Great Himalayas running all the way from Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh and spanning over 3000kms. and the Karakorams. North India is overpopulated but not unerdeveloped.
Indian culture and civilization was born in th North- including current Pakistan, but has over the past millenium been somewhat preserved by the Southies. That's why North looks so chaotic n confused.
@therash09 very well said in the north India we have beautiful cities such as Jodhpur and Udaipur the land of palaces and many more, also in the North east all the states are very beautiful...
@therash09 Please re-read your history books, Indian civilization was not "born in the north" !
The North is the New York/London/Sydney of India, crazy and hectic lifestyle, no money no proper life,
I am not talking about what's there or not there in the North, please read what I have written you didn't understand, I meant the media show the World India is poor by highlighting all the poverty that lives in the North, everytime I see a video of India, they show the poverty stricken areas ! why ?
@therash09 Let me give u a hint, where is the Indus River located ?, pls dnt tell me near Delhi/Agra/Mumbai, that's not the North in regards to where "Indians were born"...
@cddddzthab The entire Punjab region, Delhi & Uttar Pradesh [Northern Plains] form the country's most historical and ancient belt. More generally speaking, when we talk of the entire Indian Subcontinent, all area beneath Hindu Kush and the Himalayas has historically been Indian land.
So history is further found soaked in the region beyond Punjab and in areas surrounding Peshawar, Kabul, Kandahar, etc. North is where the Indian Civilisation was born, but South is where it has been preserved!
@kingantony100 what could u expect from a FAB wanker ! Go get urself fucked with ur fish n chips and drink piss to get pissed and keep abusing India.. Can't stomach ppl appreciating India, Isn't it?
It is such a pleasure to see a fellow Moroccan lady driven by beauty and animated by passion! I had my elephant ride in Bali, although ours was not the DIVA that was yours :) Tres tres bonne continuation Alia, et un tres bon Ramadan a tous :)
I met a Moroccan women on the bus today on the way to work (attractive too) and I told that I love Moroccan food. She told me I should visit it one day...which I do want to.
This looks great. I was surprised to see they drive on the left side of the road but I guess that makes sense from India's history. Also, The mountains and forests look so similar to Taiwan I thought I was looking at the mountains outside of my city. (minus the cows and elephants hehe) Thanks for sharing!

One place which is a good source for royalty free music is jamendo.com
I continuously use it and works well. I would suggest you search by genre of music which would make it easier..
Look forward to seeing your short version of the video.. :)
