I guess Hitler warmed up to Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer. In a previous video he despised them. I like Eric Singer but don't care for Tommy Thayer. I wish Bruce Kulick was back in the band. I think Hitler can relax now. 'Sonic Boom' is a critical and (projected) commercial success! Got it the first day it was in Walmart. Excellent album. It's one of those rare ones that is solid from start to finish. Not a weak song on the whole thing. Easily their best since "Love Gun".

Hitler has no taste in guitarists.  Ace is sober now and plays rings around Tommy, whose playing is way too clean and polished. Ace's strength comes from his tone and aggressiveness, which is really missing in the new song.

I don't blame Tommy, though. Gene forces him not to be himself, so if there are any problems, they're Gene's fault.

Kiss have done several styles of music. Thats how they got a bigger fan base in the late 70s early 80s. Almost every real rock band I know has ballads. If they dont then they are not a true rock band. More like a broken record (AC/DC) same ol shit. Kiss have several albums that dont have ballads but so what? Elvis, Beatles, Kiss and a few others will survive with the rats and roaches. But not you or me or even the people that made the music.

I personally have no problems with either Eric ( who I think is a great drummer) or Tommy, but I just wish Simmons & Stanley would have gone the route of giving them their OWN make-up. They did for Eric Carr & Vinnie. I still have a problem with them wearing Ace & Peter's make-up. I can't imagine Gene or Paul letting someone parade around as them.

Hope the new album is better than the lame title & rather cheesy cover.

I'm a fan of both bands. However KISS are more creative & more diverse musically. Sometimes it hasen't hit the target but at least they have the balls to try. AC/DC keep playing it safe musically. They really haven't grown.
