  • could u pleez tell me the story behind this song, im confused.

  • Aw man, the harmonies are fantastic! :] I wondered though why you didn't keep the pronunciation of 'mon amour'? They were pronouncing it right in the original versions, despite the fact that it's about the only French they got right lol x_x

Man but good job, the melodies gave me goosebumps!

  • thankies:) really, i thought it was pronounced in my french class like the word "pour", it isn't like that?

  • "Amour" is pronounced "ah-moor" where the "ou" is pronounced kind of like "oo." So it IS sorta pronounced like "pour" (for) is in French. Also, "moment fatal" would be pronounced "moh-mahnt fah-tall." That last one is tricky cause technically the "n" is silent, due to a rule in French where "m" or "n" following a vowel or vowel combo makes the vowel preceding it nasal, in which case, the "m" or "n" isn't pronounced.

If you need any help pronouncing things, let me know. I'm minoring in French.

  • If you watch my "La Fatalite Sei Senshi" video, you can hear me pronounce "amour" the way I mentioned, if that helps.

  • I wasn't aware fatal was a French word---I thought it was fatale? But then again, it's been a couple years since I took French, so I suppose it could be masculine or something.

Yeah, amour is something like 'ah-moor', and mon is pronounced like the word 'moan'. Actually, I've noticed the French in the Myu isn't totally terrible all the time--it's at least more accurate than their English. :]

  • i always thought that too:) but i keep seeing it spelled "fatal" so i spelled it like that:) okay, well i have only had 2 years in high school and 1 semester in college, and i don't think anyone in those classes really cared about foreign language:( probably why i am excelling in japanese so quickly after one semester in college now because people are actually mature and interested and also the fact that exchange students from japan are in the class to tutor really helped a lot:)

  • I think because the song has a good dose of French in it, I tend to juts say fatal the way they do, although like I said, I wasn't aware that was a proper word in French.

I had three yeras in high school, and no one really cared there either -_-. I did have the opportunity, however, of having great profs who knew the language very well, so those of us who wanted to learn did learn quite a bit. It does make a difference, though, in how easily you learn a language.

  • oh yes! i try a lot because the foreign languages are my favorite subjects:) i am going into my second semester of japanese and first semester of italian, after the competition year in interior design and i make it, i will also continue french:)

  • kay:)

  • I love how you match the harmonies perfectly. That takes a lot of talent. I love all your songs!
