Doing this exercise with a 5kg weight, after I think 5 reps my shoulder clicks no pain or discomfort is experienced. This only occurs on the right shoulder and the weight isn't excessive.
@pyrotechnizian69 Just read that some people don't prescribe this exercise actually because there is a tendency to "cause superior migration of the humeral head and increase the possibility of impinging the bursa and supraspinatus tendon."
Infraspinatus is still involved with shoulder stabilization with the arm above the head. The point of strengthening infra. is antagonistic strengthening to counter throwing motion.
isn't the empty can dor the supraspinatus muscle ?

hes lifting to high should be about 30 degrees
