Why do you not tie it directly into your fly line?

@Welcometotheworld1 the fly line is too thick to tie in a knot without hinging

Thanks, I was actually searching for the loop-to-loop part (I used to use double surgeons knot for my loops) but after a couple of tries the perfection loop is just as easy to tie and looks neater!

The perfection loop doesn't have a right or left bias like double surgeons does. The best loop for a straight connection that doesn't kick right or left is the perfection.
