you can also make the easiest trap ever!

you need 4 doors and 1 pressure plate

place the door so you when you shut/open them you get a room with no roof

place in the middle a pressure plate and if youre doing it good they will make a small room when walking on the pressure plate.

lure a mob in it and its stuck. you can also put lava above the pressure plate.
