Those people I mentioned are not in the Pesos range of millions. They are in the DOLLAR MILLION range. So a P95 million peso home is easy for them to afford.
Senator Manny Villar is worth $620 million dollars because of his real estate companies and other businesses. He became rich even before entering politics. Manny Pacquiao estimated networth is around $70 million dollars and climbing. Restaurant chain magnate Tony Tan Caktiong (Jolibee, Mang Inasal, Greenwich Pizza, Chowking, etc) estimated networth is $980 million dollars. There are a lot more others that are wealthier.
Some people just don't know how rich people are in the Philippines. Just because the Philippines has a lot of poor people and it's a small country does not mean the Philippines does not have very wealthy rich people. In fact, according to Forbes Magazine lately, the Philippines now has 11 Billionaires on it's list. With a lot of people also topping the 100 million dollar range as well. The guy who started Mang Inasal is on the list and is worth $85 million dollars
I can build an estate( twice as big as this one), with a lesser price on a 200 acres of land here in the U.S.. I even have the blue print .. no offense this is way too expensive for 95m..that is almost equivalent of a house at Beverly hills, knowing that this is not even Forbes park..:-))
@benny311 Forbes Park isn't the only gated community in the Philippines where the homes are expensive. Valle Verde has a lot of expensive homes. Dasmarinas Village, Belair Village, San Lorenzo, Magallanes Village, Greenhills, La Vista, Blue Ridge, Taguig by Mckinley Hill or Ayala Alabang areas in muntinglupa, even areas in West Triangle, Scout Areas in Quezon City or Eastwood. In the provinces like in Batangas - Punta Fuego and in Laguna South Forbes have expensive homes.
@benny311 You should see the new developments they have now even in Mindanao and Visayas islands. In Cavite alone, Ayala Greenfield Estates or in Tagaytay Ayala Westgrove Heights, they have expensive homes for sale there. Prices are climbing depending on how big and how luxurious the owners furnished them with large pools, marble, granite bathrooms, limestone kitchens, Redwood, Mahogany wood floorings, Wolfe ovens, Subzero Refrigerators etc even solar power central air conditioning
@benny311 The Philippines is a small country. Land everywhere is limited and is always at a premium price especially with 100 million people living in the Philippines, there isn't enough land for everyone. This makes real estate land really expensive especially in the city. This is why condominiums are popular now because it gives the common man a chance to own property.
wala na bang alam ang mga tao sa pinas kundi milyo-milyones. Property owners sa pinas are trying to compete with property owners sa foreign countries like usa,
buti sana kung malamig sa pinas at hindi polluted. Kahit gaano ka garbo ang bahay mo , puro pollution naman o itim na usok sa bahay mo.
@amel928 you have a point. parang di mo ma appreciate kung polluted at mainit. tapos almost the same price here in US? sa akin talgang masarap sa pinas kung..... ang pera mo is walang katapusan like yung mga known politicians and others.. na ang pera ay hindi galing sa pinag hirapan.
Yup thats the real value of a house this type. Weather you like it or not it's situated on a prime property and newly refurbished. If I have the money why not! Theres also a penthouse unit at Roxas triangle amounting to hundreds of millions of pesos.
@jeffgdesign Yeah, I know someon who lives at that condominium at Roxas Triangle. Nilo is very rich and even has other homes in Alabang and Punta Fuego. He also owns a yacht, helicopters and a private jet plane. He's my brother in law's close friend from school.
I am not insane. That is the price of that house. I do have other houses in Valle Verde priced at Php 63 Million and Php 53 Million. If you are interested I can send you details.
