There are some interlocking towers yet operational, like Dolton Tower in Illinois. 19th Century technology that still functions! Fantastic job preserving the tower!!
there are numerous active towers on the New York and Chicago subway/elevated systems, although none have this type of "armstrong" interlocking machine as far as I know...
Can't believe they still run a tower like that. Was this some rail tour?
